This is an image from Google images of a typical indie / hipster group (my audience). My magazine is aimed at a similar group but possibly a bit younger than the people in this image (12-22), and my magazine is not gender specific either.
My relatively minimalistic use of images relates
to the maturity of the culture of my audience.
